Oakley SI Ballistic M-Frame 3.0

Oakley SI Ballistic M Frame® 3.0 characterized by excellent ballistic protection and even lighter than its predecessor structure.

For years, Oakley has been an icon of excellent quality equipment for civil users, and its Standard Issue department intended for professional users cares about the safetyof operators all over the world. Glasses SI Ballistic M Frame® 3.0 are an excellent choice both for a shooting range and for applications in difficult terrain. This model meets and exceeds the requirements of ANSI Z87.1 (high-mass and high-velocity and MIL SPEC MIL-PRF 32432A.

Durable structure made of Plutonite polycarbonate

The visor was made of Plutonite®, which is a specially developed variation of polycarbonate, which guaranteed its above-average durability even for ballistic glasses. The use of Oakley HighDefinition Optics (HDO®) technology makes the viewfinder perfectly transmit the image and is free from any distortions on the entire field of view. It also provides protection against UVA, UVB radiation and a wavelength range up to 400 nm.

Eye protection at the highest level

Prizm™ Visors increase the adaptability of the human eye and visual acuity while providing protection and comfort. They provide increased target brightness and contrast, making them a great solution for shooters. The viewfinder blocks specific wavelengths from the color spectrum to increase the contrast between the selected colors of the surrounding environment while shooting. Prizm™ visor glasses make it easier to aim while reducing eye strain.

Ultralight frame made of extremely durable plastic O Matter® with an open design meets the requirements of ballistic standards and has almost no negative impact on the field of view. It also enables the dynamic replacement of the viewfinder in the event of a change in lighting. The temples have been profiled to be compatible with popular helmet systems. The glasses come with a microfiber pouch for storing and cleaning glasses.

MIL-SPECT FOR THE ELITE

BALLISTIC IMPACT

In order for SI Ballistic eyewear to meet the MIL PRF 32432A ballistic impact requirement, Oakley eyewear is hit with a 0.15 caliber, 5.85 grain, T37 shaped projectile at approximately 700-725 feet per second. The eyewear must remain intact throughout the test, without experiencing any dislodged components or fracture to the lens.

ANSI Z87.1 (2015)

HIGH-MASS IMPACT

Part of an industrial standard called ANSI Z87.1 (2015), the High-Mass Impact test requires that the lens be hit by a 500-gram metal spike (over a pound of weight) dropped from a height of 51.2 inches (over four feet). To pass the test, no frame parts or lens fragments that could damage the eye may be ejected during impact.

HIGH-VELOCITY IMPACT

Oakley premium eyewear surpasses the ANSI Z87.1 (2015) test for high-velocity impact protection. For this test, a pneumatic cannon accelerates a quarter-inch steel shot to 102 miles per hour. The lens is targeted straight on from three different heights and at seven different angles. To pass the high-velocity test, no contact between the lens and eye is permitted during impact. In addition, no frame parts or lens fragments that could damage the eye may be ejected during impact.
