Removable hood with zipper attachment and a press button to secure the puller when the hood is attached.

The jacket is cut and has a pocket set-up like all our other jackets so the soldier will immediately recognize were all equipment is put.

The front zipper is covered on the inside by a flap and on the outside by two flaps that are closed with press buttons. This gives a dirt and wind proof closure. The press buttons also serve as a reserve closure if the zipper breaks. There is no Velcro on the front flap, which will reduce noise. The sleeves are rather tight so they will not snag but are wide enough to be rolled up to the elbow. Close the Velcro adjusted cuffs to keep snow, dirt, sand and insects out. Open them to increase ventilation.

The waist and lower edge have elastic cords that can be tightened to keep the wind, snow, dirt and insects out. Open to increase ventilation. The ends of the elastic cords are placed inside the front pockets, removing them from the outside of the jacket to prevent them from getting caught, as on all our jackets. To maximize the ventilation, open the front zipper but keep the press buttons closed and open the arm pit zippers and sleeve cuffs. The arm pit zippers on all our jackets can easily be reached when wearing a combat vest.

On the sleeves are elbow pockets in a reinforcement fabric. Put in our elbow pads for increased comfort and protection. Velcro patches are placed on the chest and on the sleeves for unit and person identification patches.

A strong hanger is placed on the outside of the neck within easy reach, keeping the collar smooth and scratch-free. The jacket features a rank sleeve holder on the front.
